These are the photos of the finished piece "Hera". The final piece is 60cms x 80cms. I used lots of different scraps of fabric and yarn, beads, sequins and some hat net. The piece was lightly melted and burnt in places to give an "antique" feel.

This is a sneak peek at a new piece of work called Hera ( you can see another work in progress in the previous entry). I'll post the full image once it's finished.
I’ve been studying the art and craft of textiles for over 10 years. I create one of a kind textiles art pieces, handbags, art quilts, figurines and individual wall hangings. I’m willing to take on commissions.
I’ve lived in the Devonshire countryside (South West England) all of my life and find inspiration from my surroundings for a lot of my art. My passion for nature and the environment drives me to recycle and I often use reclaimed fabrics and found objects in my artwork.
